Our Story

Protect The Kids was born out of pain, conviction, and the refusal to stay silent.

For me, this mission is deeply personal. When I was young, I experienced sexual assault. I told someone I trusted, and nothing was done. That kind of silence does not disappear. It follows you. It shapes you. It leaves wounds that can last for years. Now I am a wife and a mother of two, and protecting children is not just something I care about. It is a responsibility I carry in my heart every day.

Like so many kids today, my daughter loved games like Fortnite and Roblox. What seemed harmless at first turned into something far more serious. An individual began communicating with her, asked to exchange numbers, and continued contacting her directly. As I started going through her phone, I found messages and images that immediately raised alarm. I contacted law enforcement right away. At first, I was told there was little that could be done. But I refused to let the matter die there. I kept digging, followed leads, gathered information, and continued pressing for action. That decision changed everything.

What began as a mother’s instinct to protect her child became a fight for truth, accountability, and justice. The case eventually reached authorities in Alabama, where further action was taken. That experience opened my eyes to how easily children can be targeted, how quickly these situations can escalate, and how often parents are left to figure things out on their own.

That is why Protect The Kids exists. We are here to raise awareness about online grooming, exploitation, and the dangers children face in digital spaces every day. We are here to equip parents with knowledge, encourage vigilance, and help families recognize warning signs before the children who do not yet know how to protect themselves.

This is bigger than one family’s story. There are countless parents who never get answers, countless children who are targeted in silence, and countless warning signs that go unnoticed until the damage is already done.

Protect The Kids is a call to parents, families, and communities to stay alert, stay involved, and stand together. Our children need protection, guidance, and voices strong enough to fight for them.
